Adsense Referral Ads Gone Soon

According to Google ads like the one to the left will be retiring soon. In an announcement Google stated that their Referral ads will be gone by the last week of August. The reason for the retirement of the Referrals ads is the poor monetization results of publishers for these specific ads. An alternative to the Referrals ads is the Google Affiliate Network. It enables publishers to apply for advertiser programs and get paid on advertiser-defined actions. Another possibility might be Google’s new video units.
