How to Manage to Post Continuously
Posted on 23. Oct, 2008 by Julius.
Managing to post frequently is getting harder these days. Sometimes you might be on vacation, sometimes working, other times you are just hanging out with your friends. You often cannot predict when you are going to have time to write a post because there is always something that gets in the way.
I myself struggled to keep up with posting on a continuous basis but it is now a lot easier for me. Read on to get a feel for what you can do to be able to post on a frequent basis.
Prewrite Articles
I am doing this all the time when I know that I won’t be able to use a computer for a week. I will just prewrite three articles and then publish them on certain dates. Sometimes you just might have a good idea of what you could write about. Instead of losing this thought just grab a paper and write it down or go to WordPress and create a new post and enter a headline which reminds you of what you wanted to talk about.
Publish Articles on a Certain Date
As mentioned above you should publish prewritten articles on a set date.
WordPress has a neat function that lets you just do that. When you are writing a post there is a little “Edit” button above the publish button. Clicking on that lets you set a date for publishing the post as seen in the picture.
Be Creative
This is important to keep your natural flow of writing up and also probably the most difficult task. You have to sharpen your mind to be able to use things that happen every day in your posts. These might be silly things but still useful for your audience. Everyone has seen posts like “What You Can Learn from Paris Hilton About Marketing” etc. These might seem like stupid posts but most of them have at least some value to it. Even if it is just the idea of writing about Paris Hilton’s use of marketing.
Note: I am in London when this post is published. And no I don’t have a computer to use in London
