Google Ad Planner

Ad Planner GoogleGoogle Ad Planner is a free planning tool that helps you identify websites which your audience is most likely to visit. Through it you can make better choices about where to advertise.

At the beginning when I read about it I actually wasn’t that excited at all and just thought that it would be another Google program trying to capture the market. But now I am actually quite impressed by it. Here are some of its features.

Features

  • Access to data from over 40 million sites
  • Detailed site data
  • Data export
  • Define target audience through filters: country, language, gender, age, education, keywords
  • Media plans

The data Google Ad Planner provides is very useful. I used it myself as you can see in the picture above. I researched facebook.com and it shows you how many of the visitors are male, how many are between 18-24, what their income is etc. It further provides you with information about what visitors searched for on the site and which other sites they visited. This makes it an extremely useful tool for internet marketers.

Other than that Ad Planner has not a lot to offer but the research tool alone makes it very very valuable. Take a look at it and tell me what you think of it.
