Google Adsense recently announced that the font of the advertisement is now changeable for publishers. This might be very helpful in optimizing your advertisement even further.

There are several ways you can change your ad unit’s font.

First of all when you can create a new ad unit you can just choose the font you want the ads to be displayed in.

Google Adsense FontIf you do not want to create new ad units or change every single one of the old ones manually you can also just go into the Ad Display Preference section of your Account Settings page and change the default for ad units there.

The font you can use in any one of your ads are the following:

  • Arial
  • Times
  • Verdana
  • default Adsense font

This option might be really helpful to increase your income if you use it wisely. I suggest you play around with it and measure what works best with your ads. For example it might be good to adjust your ad fonts to the ones you use on your page.

Do you think the new option is useful?
